Leprosy Research Initiative Spring Meeting
On Thursday 8 and Friday 9 April 2021 from 13:30 – 17:00 (CET) the Leprosy Research Initiative (LRI) is organising its sixth annual Spring Meeting. This year the event will take place online. During this meeting, the progress and results of currently ongoing LRI funded research projects will be presented to the LRI Scientific Review Committee, the LRI Steering Committee, representatives from all funded research groups, associate partners, and co-financiers. The principal investigators of R2STOP (The Research to Stop Neglected Tropical Diseases Transmission Initiative) funded research projects will join the meeting as well and share their research findings. The meeting also offers opportunities to virtually network with and learn from fellow researchers. Participants will be stimulated to engage in discussions and to share ideas between researchers, funders, and other stakeholders.
The LRI has opened this meeting for external participants – persons with a keen interest in leprosy research who wish to attend but are not otherwise invited. However, virtual seats for external participants are limited. More information about the program of this event and the registration procedure will be provided on the LRI website in the coming weeks.
