Join the Research Agenda Working Group
The Global Partnership for Zero Leprosy is launching the Research Agenda Working Group to develop an aligned, prioritized research agenda to support advocacy for investment. Such an agenda has been very effective when used by other neglected tropical disease (NTD) groups to mobilize partnerships and resources. The working group will develop research priorities in eight key areas. To do so, it will assess current research, identify gaps and prioritize the new knowledge needed to reach the goal of zero leprosy. The working group will also explore promising cross-cutting opportunities, such as digital technologies.
Criteria for Participants
- Expertise in one of the sub-group topic areas. Scientists and researchers in leprosy or other NTD areas are encouraged to apply. Persons affected by leprosy and country programme managers are also welcome to apply and bring their perspective to the groups.
- Availability to participate in conference calls during the September-October timeframe.
- Ability to review drafts and provide comments within a short timeframe.
Please note that working group participants will also be listed as members of the partnership on our website.
Thank you to all who have submitted applications already. We will be in touch in early September.
