International Task Force for Disease Eradication-Summary

The summary of the 2018 meeting of the  International Task Force for Disease Eradication, published in the Weekly Epidemiological Record. The meeting was held April 2018 at The Carter Center in Atlanta. Experts met to review the status of global elimination of leprosy (also known as Hansen’s disease), the availability of better diagnostic testing and treatment, reduction in social stigma, and research on the potential reservoir in armadillos.
