Call for Proposals: Capacity-Building Pilot for Organisations of Persons Affected by Leprosy

The Global Partnership for Zero Leprosy (GPZL) is excited to announce a new capacity-building pilot program. This initiative is specifically designed to strengthen and support associations led by persons affected by leprosy that are small, new, or have historically had limited access to structured external support.

Program Highlights:

  • What is offered: Tailored, hands-on support throughout 2026 (with a possible extension into 2027).
  • Focus Areas: Support will be customized based on your needs, focusing on Leadership, Human Rights, Digital Skills, and Connecting to Networks.
  • Selection: One (1) organization will be selected to participate in this initial pilot model.
  • Eligibility: Must be an officially registered organization primarily made up of and led by persons affected by leprosy, with an active bank account and a functioning leadership structure. There are no country restrictions.
  • Deadline to Apply: 20th May 2026.

How to Apply:
Interested organizations should submit a short document or presentation (max 2 pages or 5 slides) outlining their current challenges, proposed local resource person, and sustainability plan.
