Inés Egino is Head of Strategic Partnerships & Advocacy at Anesvad Foundation, where she leads efforts to advance the rights and health of people affected by skin-related neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).
A political scientist with over two decades of experience in human rights, international development, and public health, Inés brings deep expertise in strategic public health advocacy—leveraging evidence-based approaches to influence policy, promote health equity, and drive systemic change. Her work engages multilateral organizations, international networks, policymakers, and civil society to champion Universal Health Coverage through Primary Health Care approaches and health system strengthening.
At Anesvad, Inés plays a key role in shaping advocacy strategies aligned with the WHO Road Map for NTDs, with a specific focus on those with skin manifestations. She is committed to collaborative efforts that integrate skin NTDs into broader health and development agendas, contributing to more equitable and sustainable health outcomes.
Inés holds a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent (UK), an MPhil in International Development from the University of the Basque Country, and a Diploma in Public Health from Pompeu Fabra University.
