Launch of the Global Web-Based Research Database for Zero Transmission of Leprosy

🌍 A new resource for advancing zero transmission of leprosy
We are pleased to announce the launch of the Global Web-Based Research Database for Zero Transmission of Leprosy — a living resource bringing together research and evidence to support researchers, national programmes and partners working towards zero transmission.

The database will help us:
🔹 Identify evidence gaps
🔹 Strengthen research collaboration and coordination
🔹 Support a stronger global research agenda
🔹 Accelerate action towards zero transmission of leprosy

The launch followed a valuable dissemination event on the scoping review of research on Mycobacterium leprae transmission. The review has highlighted important areas where further research is needed, with the manuscript currently under preparation.
