Vivek Lal is the Team Leader, WHO Global Leprosy Programme. He is a medical doctor with specialization in Community Medicine from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He has over 15 years of public health experience involving advocacy, planning, implementation and research. He has been a member of the International Federation of Anti-Leprosy Associations (ILEP) Technical Commission, member of the Neglected Tropical Disease NGO Network (NNN) and advisory member to the Association of People Affected by Leprosy (APAL).
